His current OC was the OC at Arkansas for Chad Morris.

Their all-conference QB and RB, and best WR, were already at Troy when Sumrall/Craddock got there. Would they recruit well enough and be as successful with their own players?

I’m not saying he’s a bad choice, but I would feel more confident if he had a few more years demonstrating success with more of his own recruits like Chadwell and Traylor.

And according to Robbie Chadwell is interested in the job but landing him financially may be a stretch

What's Chadwell's buyout?
Honestly have no idea. I heard 10 or 12. But there are varying opinions thrown around about buy outs not being a deterrent. I read somewhere that Auburn paid 3 mill for Freeze buy out from Liberty. I hope it's him. I think he would need 6 or 7 mill a year. He has the track record of winning at 3 different schools. Nothing SEC tho.
