Rhule said the defense won the day at last Saturday's scrimmage, and that the offense was sloppy, with pre-snap procedure issues, getting different personnel on and off the field and other things that need to continue being worked on.

Shocking to hear that about a Satterfield offense.

When Satterfield was hired, Nebraska put out a graphic touting the Satterfield offense and showed stats from the UT and Clemson games.

There was no mention of stats from all the other games he coached here.

Glad he’s not our problem anymore. It worked out better that I could’ve imagined at the end of last year. We finished strong and still don’t have to have him as OC.
Please don't misconstrue what happened after the Florida game. Well, go ahead and misconstrue it if doing so fills a personal need.

There's a "good ole boy" culture within the coaching profession. Many get hired and maintained despite their lack of ability. I'm not saying that applies to all. But, it happens.
I just glad Shane had the connections to get someone to take him off our hands - but we did have to suffer through most of the season.

Redemption feels good. I bet we'll enjoy a whole lot more as their season progresses. 😁

Agreed.

Has anyone bothered to go to their board and see if they have a new, neurotic poster who just LOVES the oc hire?

I dropped my knees and thanked God for answering my prayers the moment I found out Satterfield was leaving. That was a good day!
Did Nebraska actually make him their offense coordinator though? 😂 😆

I thought the move was more of a Sabanesque move. Rhule was familiar with him and they had some success together before. I believed that Rhule would help Satt build/re-build his resume.
