Childers is pretty much a clown, but I do listen to the show when I’m driving around. He loves Notre Dame and now he is taking online classes at Alabama so he can claim them too.

Neuheisel is a smart individual generally but also knows his football. Childers is the comedic relief element of the show. Somehow I find their show interesting and fun. Better than a bunch of blowhards seeing who can yell the loudest.

I listen to them when I happen to have a day off. I like Rick N. a lot. Always takes a logical approach from his previous experiences. Lots of background to support his stances. Childers is a tool. ND homer. Has no business being on the show.

Well, I waste a lot of time on this board reading posts from people who know absolutely nothing about football in order to get to the dialogue from people who do. I can live with Childers’ attempts at entertainment, because I do like Neuheisel’s perspective and insights.

Fair enough, you got to take what you can get. Blocking out the BS is an important life hack.

I’ve never been able to appreciate great announcers, people like Keith Jackson, Richie Ashburn. Get this: I attended, a guess, 40 games at the Palestra and had no idea who Al Meltzer was. My dad loved Ashburn, was crushed when Richie died.

the are on SXM 84 - ESPNU. Not sure they really have any ESPN affiliation other than possible contract for their show that is picked up on the station. I believe that Rick is on CBS or NBC TV. not sure which one.

Childers is either playing and idiot or is one. The Oregon coach pre-game says it all = they are playing for clicks and we are playing for wins. the game is not going to be played in Hollywood it is on the field. Childers comments with Taylor Swift was the playing the clicks.
