I can’t believe how many ads they run on an episode. And Brian doesn’t even prerecord them, just reads them every episode. Insanity.

That's about par nowadays. A one-hour television program has 18 minutes of advertising.

Yeah 5 clicks to get through the ads most of the time
Don’t understand people bitching about ads on a free podcast
We all got to pay the bills

It can be annoying at times, but I just skip through them and I remind myself that I’m paying exactly zero dollars to listen to the show. I’m glad they are making money at a time when State is a tough product to sell. You could always listen to Rosebowl talk about Bulldog Burger instead.

Pro tip. If you listen on apple go into your settings and change the fast forward button from 30 seconds to a minute per press. A few clicks and you are past them. Then one click on the back 15 second button and you are done. Literally takes me about 8 seconds to get through the ads.

If you use a vpn, move it to a foreign country. No ads. I can always tell when I leave my vpn on a US location as soon as I play a podcast because the ads are ridiculous.

you're welcome
