He might be "big" in size. But is he "big" in talent? He was either a 3 or 2 star recruit coming out of high school, going to David Letterman's alma mater", Ball State. Did he produce at Ball State? I know nothing more about him.
I just looked him up. He was first team MAC TE in 2022. Pre-season injury kept him out this season. So I would agree he is a big get.
And potentially 3 years of eligibility if he gets a medical waiver for the year he was injured.
He did. Had a big year in 22, was geared up for a big ‘23 but missed the year with injury.
Yes I saw that when I looked him up further. Good pick up. Beamer is getting it done in the portal, as well as HS recruiting.
Beamer has us #15 in average stars (like that On3 provides that option) in HS recruiting. With good "coaching", we can make the 12-team playoffs in the future if we are bringing in Top 15 talent. And if you make the playoffs, anything can happen.
