What does it mean show cause because Jimbo got one and did not miss a lick of coaching.
This one has a little more bite.

Pruitt is also facing a one-year suspension if hired:
• A six-year show-cause order for the former head coach. Should the head coach become employed in an athletically related position at an NCAA school during that show-cause order, he shall be subject to a suspension from 100% of the first season of his employment.

Pruitt will never be a Head Coach again.
The $8 million fine will leave a mark regardless of their Athletic budget. I don't see Jimmy Haslam writing that check for UT.

In other words, UT used a guy who’s now an NFL coach as their scapegoat, the NCAA handed it’s harshest penalties to said coach which no college has any desire to hire in the first place, and UT itself receives nothing of consequence
