Hey, ME, take a look at the "About Us" section of the first link you provided (which I suspect is where Serrano got his mail order diploma). I mean, have you ever read anything quite as pathetic as that? Not to be outdone, the section on "Accreditation" had me literally laughing out loud.

I hope UT did their due diligence on this one.

Serrano used to be an assistant at UT- that's why there was a connection.

Vanderbilt has been really recruiting Nashville well. It will be interesting to see if this affects them.

I don't know if anyone can realistically lock down Memphis- MSU, Ole Miss, UT, Vandy, Arkansas, and Memphis all have gotten players from there.

Hiring Serrano might force Vandy to recruit a little bit differently long term.

That alone doesn't ensure the Vols have locked in their sights on Cal State Fullerton's <font color="#db8e35">Dave Serrano</font>, but it obviously doesn't rule out a guy who has had his college education called into question during at least one previous search.</p>

Serrano declined comment on the position when reached by email last week and didn't return messages left by the News Sentinel on Friday, but he has spoken publicly about his Trinity College and University degree obtained in 2003 from a school that lacks accreditation after withdrawing from consideration from the Oregon job in 2007.</p>

"Both administrations knew of this, and I was told that if the worst thing they can say about my career is my level of education, then I can live the rest of my life in peace," Serrano told the Orange County Register then. "My education has never been a secret to Cal State Fullerton or (Cal Irvine). I have been upfront about it all along and they were both aware of it."</p>

Am I reading between the lines of their verbal-diarrhea correctly?

I couldn't even laugh b/c I was so stunned when I looked at the list of available Bachelor's and Masters degrees.....Under EVERY bachelor's degree heading, the first entry in the focused subject area list is LITERALLY "Any Subject"....Then they basically list some examples. They really must not give a **** in any way, form, or fashion, about looking legitimate.

I might send in a picture of some burnt toast and see if its cool for them to send me a Master's in Alchemy

His bachelors "degree" is obviously not a real degree. He as much as said it himself in a quote.

If a degree is not required for the job, why would UT even mention the Trinity College and University "degree"?
