Boys we might as well accept it- I have and it does hurt somewhat and really HURTS the last two years but what we started in the 1970’s took to another level in the 80’s and then to another level just 4-5 years ago is about to be the norm for 75% of the SEC schools as far as baseball.
We made every other SEC school that wants to compete in baseball do this.
We still have the best stadium, not sure about player amenities and practice facilities but we’re going to have to up our game in baseball again within 5 years to stay on top of facilities.
We damn sure better up our game next year to stay relevant in the SEC as far as competition because we have fallen in two short years to maybe - maybe 8th in the SEC which is worse than middle of the pack.
And it’s about to get tougher in 2024-2025 season and beyond.
If status quo, we’re about 9th or 10th then.
Let all that **** sink in !!!
