Tepper is the first one we are losing that MIGHT could have helped us next year if he improved his control.

Those responsible for recruiting all these guys that "aren't good enough" better feel the burn on their asses from their hot seats, due to their ****** evaluation of talent. If they don't bring in better to fill those spots, it's time for some staff shakeup. But we've already dropped so many recruits, these sumbeaches look lost in recruiting.

Well, Tepper committed to Cann, so we've nipped that bad evaluation in the bud.

He committed to Lem. He was a Top 100 guy. Just like Fristoe. A lot of schools wanted Tepper once he de committed from Charlotte

That makes 6, other 3 are Montiel, Bane and Higgins.

So who is supposed to be our catcher next year? Is Bane just unhappy? Or has it become obvious that he's just not SEC caliber and we're going to have either a transfer or freshman beat him out pretty much regardless?

There is talent to be found in the portal. Lemoins & Co need to be scouting the conference tournaments and regionals hard the next 3 weeks.

5 of the 2022 1st Team All SEC Players came from the portal
C: BT Riopelle, Florida/Coastal Carolina
2B: RJ Yeager, Mississippi State/Mercer
1B: Sonny DiChiara, Auburn/Samford
SP: Chase Dollander, Tennessee/GA Southern
RP: Tyler Guilfoil, Kentucky/Lipscomb

I don’t look at mlb draft projections, but Tanner didn’t have near the season he was projected to. He still has a year of leverage left. I don’t think he comes back, but he could bet on himself if he doesn’t get big money
