With 14:09 remaining, they hit a 3-pointer to go up 44-35. Their next field goal came with 1:08 remaining on an offensive rebound and putback. Incredible defensive effort by the team in a game we had to win.

I have criticized posters for blaming the Referees for some of our losses. After watching this one from Row 1(actually 5th row from the Aggie bench, that is a game Both Coaches should send the tape to the SEC office. Those 3 guys should not be allowed to Ref a 8 year olds basketball game. The entire first half was a Rugby match in the paint. The entire second half was a free throw shooting contest. Just brutal. Glad we won! Tulu and Cam making their free throws in the end sealed it along with their defense. A & M came out in the second half and decided to play even more physical, pressing the entire half, shortening our half court possessions by doing so and got a 9 point lead. Out of a timeout we got two steals and 4 points cutting it to 5 and starting playing physical with them. They succumbed in the end.
