You assume they are recruiting high school players. I wouldn't rely on that anymore. Florida basketball doesn't do it anymore and they just won the national championship.
Good point. Florida has pretty much dropped out of recruiting high school basketball players. You never see their name mentioned by the "Five Stars". They do bring in a few locals but there isn't much recruiting for these. They are Gators before they are Gators.
Look at their #2 transfer portal class. They didn’t get a bunch of stars from top schools. They got a bunch that didn’t make it and left. The class they brought in is more on the lines of what UK brought in versus the top teams.
I replied to Grumpy saying they get whoever they go after. Well they must not go after many top guys in the portal or HS. Even in the overall they’re 21st. Compare LSU who recruited the portal hard to TT and you can see the difference in who they got, while adding a top HS class. TT is not getting whoever they want. Is it good enough for the Big 12 possibly. Would it compete against B1G or SEC? No freaking way
