What possesses someone to through away a college scholarship (worth what? $50K+?) and a shot at the NFL in order to enter the nefarious world of illegal substance distribution and usage where you have to watch your back 24/7 for the police and others like you that want what you have? I know, I know. It's the bling. For me, it'd take out-of-this world, "make Bill Gates look poor" bling to even begin to entice me to begin considering such a decision. The stress alone wouldn't allow me to enjoy the money.

Yea, Jimmy just locked up the Ellis T. Jones Award for individual achievement in the Fulmer Cup.

I believe it was 2 years ago when Jones racked up some 30+ Fulmer Cup points by himself while a member of San Jose State. It was such an individual achievement that they didn't even give the award to SJSU. They just created the Ellis T. Jones Award in his namesake. The guy for Missouri that had them at the top of the board was the front runner for the award, but Jimmy Johns just took him to the woodshed.

Barring the 5 state Jevan Snead crime spree that TR is wishing for, Johns should receive the hardware this fall.
