That UGA game last night made me sick. Did anyone else feel that Ohio St. got hosed? Seemed like every critical call

went in the Dawgs favor. I recall 3 things that really burned me - maybe I`m wrong about some but here goes. 1) I`m sorry - Bowers was out of bounds on that critical 4th down catch. Before the commercial he was about a yard short, Buckeyes ball. After the commercial, first down Georgia! I don`t give a damn where his knee or the ball was - his foot was out and he clearly looked short. UGA gets 3 points out of it. 2) The reversed targeting call - HUGE! Harrison got his clock cleaned by a guy launching into his head. Brutal, causing Harrison to miss the rest of the game. Looked like targeting to me! If it stands, Buckeyes are knocking on the door, may have had a TD - 3-7 points down the drain, no Harrison, and DB plays the rest of the game. While we get a critical 30 yd. penalty on a supposedly dangerous iffy blindside block & Beamer complains about it. No one injured there by the way, or on the other blindside penalty we got. What was more dangerous, those or the head ringing Harrison got. 3) Did Kirby really get that Time out in time when Ohio St, easily converted the fake punt. They would have kept the ball instead of punting and I believe UGA scored at TD quickly after that. The momentum that the Buckeyes would have had was completely flipped. I`m not convinced he did. Anyway, all of those went Georgia`s way. I expect them to beat TCU, hope I`m wrong. But I believe TCU would be playing Ohio St. if for not two critical reversals of calls and that time out. I`m going to remained pissed for a while but cannot imagine how pissed the Ohio St. program must be.

I can’t stand either UGA or OSU, so I’m unbiased in my opinion.

The reversed targeting looked good to me. It seemed to be pretty clear shoulder-to-shoulder contact.

On the Bowers play, it all depends on when the ball crossed the out-of bounds line, but you could only tell from an overhead shot, which wasn’t shown to us. I know replay has other angles not shown on tv, so maybe they had that.

While it is true I despise OSU...i think the calls were all good. That fanbase will complain about winning the lottery....so whatever.
Also- definitely shoulder to shoulder.

I'm a TOSU alumnus so take it with a grain of salt.....the only called I disagreed with was the reversal of the targeting call. Helmet clearly made contact with helmet....it may have been a glancing blow, but that is enough for targeting as the guy lowered his helmet and lunged and hit the TOSU player's helmet albeit not as directly as it could have been....if they are trying to stop that type of hit, the player shouldn't be forgiven because it was not as direct hit as it could have been.

They cut to commercial before any other angles of that replay could be shown -- by the time they returned to the game it was already confirmed as a first down. And that wasn't the only poorly timed commercial break.

The guy wasn't targeting the receiver. He was using his whole body to break up what might have been a reception as far as he could tell. The rules official in the booth was good with it. That seals it for me. It was a very close call.

I'll take it with a whole mountain of salt. The hit on Harrison was completely legal, look at some of the videos available on Youtube from the back of the end zone. The Georgia player led with his shoulder and hit Harrison in the shoulder.

Even if targeting had been upheld, OSU would have been penalized because Harrison stepped out of bounds and came back in and was the first player to touch the ball. That would have been a 5 yd penalty against OSU. OSU fans are insufferable, OSU is to the B1G what clemson is to the ACC, big fish in a small pond with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement.

Yeah, I keep seeing posts on Twitter from major sports media sources showing the clip and asking if it was the right call. I don't see how it's even borderline. I've watched the clip over and over and over. It was shoulder to shoulder plain as day.

I just don't see what the fuss is about it. Was it a nasty hit? Sure thing. But clean as can be.

Not only was a timeout called, Ohio State had twelve men on the field
