I know it applies in SEC games but I was surprised last night when the beatdown of Citadel ended early.....is it all games?
Which is how it should have continued. There was no need to make it automatic for regular season conference games. The 10 run rule has always been available in college baseball, provided both coaches agree to it prior to the game. However, it was rarely used.
It was only made automatic in SEC games this season. It has been in effect for SECT for quite some time.
Realistically, how much do we think it will actually be used in SEC games though? Our first weekend against UGa, and Vandy last weekend, were anomalies IMO.Which is how it should have continued. There was no need to make it automatic for regular season conference games.
it saves pitching.... look at the proliferation of arm injuries in the college game.Which is how it should have continued. There was no need to make it automatic for regular season conference games.
