  1. If you aren't good enough to play with the big boys then I guess you just have to get better. (Jordan's Mom and Dad instilled this competitive nature in him at an early age)
  2. Take it personally when a team or a player disrespects you, allow that to motivate you. Eat this motivation for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (This is clear on the Last Dance documentary, Jordan needed to find ways to fuel his motivation. Jordan took ownership of his competitive nature. He was competitive in everything he did and yes he held petty grudges for years.)
  3. Find ways to get the good players you play against out of their rythm. Annoy them, especially on your home court. Be a disrupter of confidence, rhythm, flow and players being "in the zone". (Rodman was a master at this, and Jordan also talked to players to mess with their confidence.)
  4. Work harder than everyone else and make your teammates play up to their potential. (The best players work the hardest and then help motivate the other players to practice hard and play hard, and make them much better players. Winning teams can't just be 1 good player getting their personal best stats.)

5. Wear sunglasses during your interviews so no one can see what all that hard liquor is doing to you.

I thought this was going to be the officiating guidelines, if you breathe on Jordan it’s a foul
