I posted the 1957 game vs Army and the T formation resulted in a TD against the cadets in 1957 and against Utah in the Rose Bowl this part season.

Technically it was the 1994 Citrus Bowl following the 1993 season.

I had just graduated from PSU in December, and this was this first time I made it to one of our bowl games. Loved it!

I was there and remember Rocky Top being played every 5 minutes at the start of the game….and less and less as the game progressed. I don’t think it was played at all in the fourth quarter!

That game, especially the 2nd half, was the jumpstart for the juggernaut that was the 94 season. I've said to a couple of other fans that the Rose Bowl this year could serve as a similar springboard. Biggest difference being that it'll be a different QB.
