Actually, they all rate the teams based on talent available. When they look at State they see we have the least talent compared with the other teams in the SEC West so there you go. If we were in the East we would be ranked about where UK is because they have had similar talent. What they don't know is that a lot of Mississippi talent is under rated compared with players from the big states like Florida, Texas etc.

Been a State fan for 52 years. I can not recall one time we weren't picked last in either the old SEC or the expanded one. It never matters one way or the other
