He is just reporting facts. Is it his fault a player got arrested? No. It's news that people expect to know about.

So are a lot of the things he reports on that people get mad at.

You live in America. The free press that we enjoy is part of living in this country. Don't get mad that the sports news you get isn't what you want to hear.

Well, here's what I don't understand. Just because a football player does something stupid, why do these people take it so personally? If it was a family member I could understand, but it's not like I'm going to go to work tommorrow and people are going to see my MSU license plate on my car and think- "Oh that's where Arceto Clark, the guy who stole whatever goes to school. He must be a crook to." And if they do, they're dumbasses.

Hell, Machine Gun Kelly went to MSU and it's not like that has hurt our reputaiton or anything.

And then these are probably the same people that laughed at Jamar Hornsby for beating up that guy at McDonald's.

People just need to understand that for some reason- football players especially, for whatever reason- do stupid crap. At ALL schools. I don't know why, but they do. And it doesn't really seem to matter who the coach is, it's a nationwide epidemic. So, you're better off just keeping your mouth shut when a rivals player gets arrested because it's probably a matter of time before it happens to your team to.

And Kyle- Thanks.

Because without you, I would be up in the stands wondering where Arceto Clark is and why he is not playing. Thank you for not feeding into people's selfish, immature delusions. Maybe the Ninja should just go ahead and spike the coke at the football games with Prozac and save everyone some much needed grief.

I don't read Gene's Page or the comments in Veazey's blog, so let me get this straight....people are getting mad at him because he reported that our moronic football players got arrested? That's as retarded as coach34's upset/covering the spread logic. Someone should tell our damn players to quit 17-ing up if they want Veazey to stop reporting it. Its his damn job! Wow, so dumb. People's stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

If Veazey didn't report it, and Clark didn't play in the spring game, there would be so many people asking where Clark was that Veazey's blog would probably crash. Would they then get mad at Veazey for answering their questions of why he wasn't playing?

The same people who are all up in arms that Veazey reported the Arceto Clark arrest, are the exact same people who would be screaming about the C-L covering up the Hornsby arrest if they didn't report it. They actually seem to think the C-L should cover up MSU players legal troubles and publicize UM players legal troubles. Not to mention that if they want to get pissed at somebody about this, why not get pissed at our dubmass player who got his *** arrested? He's the only one who did anything wrong here.

...if you post on Gene's page, & if you are out to manufacture some outrage, always accompany your nutty rant with a Bible verse.

In other words, if I am a State fan, and if I feel it's my right to get pissed at anybody who reports "bad things" about MSU athletes, I quantify my outrage by rocking a Bible verse @ the end of my comment.

That way nobody can question the validity of my outrage, because my Bible verse shields me from your secular progressive/secret Rebel take on the matter.

I challenge any sixpacker who posts over there to put Jules's bible verse from Pulp Fiction at the end of his posts.

because the 10 plays or so Arceto got in on last year may be the only downs he ever plays at MSU given the present circumstances.

I just read a bunch of GP threads. I found one bible verse. The point of both the post and verse was that a State player that breaks the law must pay the price.

Show me an example of somebody "rocking a verse."
