Looking at Lunardi and Palm's projections. Here are the teams battling for the last eight spots in the tournament

Boise State
NC State
Pittsburgh- WON
Penn State - Lunardi, last four byes, Palm, last four in
Nevada - Palm, last four byes, Lunardi, last four in
West Virginia - Palm, last four byes, Lunardi, solid in
Mississippi State - Last Four in on both
Utah State - Last Four in on both
Rutgers - Lunardi has in, Palm does not have considered
Michigan - Palm has in, Lunardi has first of "Next Four Out"

---------------------- Either Palm or Lunardi have the above teams in (italics only one has them in)
Oklahoma State
Wisconsin
Arizona State
North Carolina
--------------------- Palm and Lunardi agree that the above are the "first four out"
Charleston - GOT THE AQ
Clemson
Oregon
---------------------These teams are being considered. Charleston gets an aq with a win tonight

Everyone on this list except for Mississippi State and Charleston need to lose as quick as possible in their conference tournament.

It would appear that the Mountain West will probably get 3 teams in. San Diego St. and probably Boise St. are locks. Utah St. is hot right now and has a NET of 21. I would think if they made it to the semifinals and especially the finals, they would be in. Nevada on the other hand is probably the team we need to lose against San Jose St tomorrow. Nevada's current NET is 36. San Jose St. is currently sitting at 96 in the NET. A quarterfinal loss in the conference tournament might be the nail in their coffin.

Rutgers and Michigan play each other on Thursday in the Big 10 tournament, feels like an NCAAT elimination game for the loser. Pitt, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, NC State all play tomorrow. Most of those are against the worst teams in their leagues so a good chance the majority of them win, but any of them losing tomorrow is a plus for us.

Pitt is up by 6 on GT with a little over 1:20 left. Pools like they are going to win. Boo!!

I think that probably secures Pitt’s spot in the field, they just needed to avoid another bad loss. Losing to Duke tomorrow shouldn’t hurt them.

Pitt is in.

Virginia Tech plays NC State tonight. A VT win + a State win tomorrow and we could flip places with NC State and avoid Dayton.

The number of brackets on brackets matrix changes throughout the day as updates are entered, but as of this afternoon there are 94 included in the matrix. Palm is the only one of the 94 to have Michigan in the tournament. THE ONLY ONE.

Yep. But Palm works for CBS, so maybe he is projecting what his employer would like to see.

I don't see how Michigan is in without a B1G Tournament title.
