Should have kept McCarthy. Everywhere Shotty has been OC the fans have always hated him. He runs an outdated and very predictable offensive system with no creativity. Cowboys will suck for the foreseeable future although that’s not entirely on him. Their talent level has been greatly diminished the last 2 years. They should have tanked this last season so they could have picked high in all 7 rounds, it did nobody any good to win 7 games and pick in the middle of every round.
At this point it seems clear no one wants to work for Jones

Sometimes I think Jerry Jones hates the Cowboys more than I do.
I’m glad Dak is rich beyond imagination, but I kinda wish he played for a competent organization.

The focus of the organization has not been about winning a SB for a long time as the playoff record clearly shows. There is no salary cap for coaches. The Cowboys could afford to pay $25 million a year to a head coach but Jeruh is always looking for a long shot bargain....once a wild catter always a wild catter.
I believe the owners have to ok it. I bet the rest of the owners LOVE having JJ in charge of the Cowboys.

Yet they have the largest physical fanbase in the NFL. In that regard, they really are "America's Team".
When I was in grad school at UAH, I was taking Reliability that met from 6-8 p.m. Monday night FB in those days was started at 8 on ABC, and whenever the Cowboys played on MNF he'd let us go in time to get home for the game. He, and just about everybody else I knew, were Cowboys fans.
They should have hired Bellechick.
