Combined they were 6 of 20 from deep and 9 of 27 overall.
Those two shooting 30% from deep and 33% overall is brutal.

Hubbard shooting 27% from deep and 31% overall largely makes him a net liability.

UK played awesome.
MSU played awesome.

That was a helluva game to watch. Our two best shooters can't both be off against a top 10 team thats playing well.

Hope Harris Jr and Hubbard quickly shoot out of today's mess and turn it around for Auburn.

No argument from me. Any combo of a little better shooting from our shooters and a more normal night for UK and we are celebrating a great win. It was an outstanding game.

The Robinson kid was 7-10 from 3 (7-8 at one point). He's a 29% shooter on the year and his best game in 15 games from 3 prior to tonight was 4-10.

It was two good teams. I felt like some UK’s success was them getting past our guards on the perimeter. After that, they were able to move the ball well enough to get a good, high quality look.

Just got home. Really good game and the Hump was very loud.

No doubt their shooting from the outside is the difference maker.

In the first half they were running a screen at the free throw line and eating our lunch. Guys got hung up in it which allowed them to get some open looks. Kept their best three point shooter at bay and all the other ones had career nights. Just bad luck.

Hubbard was playing hero ball in the last two minutes. I wish that Melendez could have been in there at the end to maybe help get a better look. They were not going to let Hubbard have a clean look.

Really hurt not having Kugel in the second half. From our vantage point we could see him in the tunnel after his hand injury. He was trying to get through the pain and get back out there and eventually they taped it. Then the leg injury ended his night when he did get back in. I thought what little he played he was doing well.

Tough loss but not the end of the world by any means. On to Auburn.
