I am going with (1) VaTech vs. ECU; (2) MSU vs. LaTech ...no brainer there; (3) BAMA vs. Clemson

And they'll all be going down that Saturday night. In less than 9 weeks.

I'm sure nobody else will select this game, but Thursday night I'll be interested in seeing what GT's offense looks like now that Johnson has taken over, especially considering we will be playing them a few weeks later.

Saturday I will be interested in Bama/Clemson and Illinois/Mizzu. I hoping our game will be a blow out by the time those 2 games start, but barring several MSU defensive TDs, I doubt it. Thanks Woody! Kudos to Bama for playing a big non-conference neutral site game 2 years in a row.

I'm not too high on the UCLA/UT game. I don't think UCLA is supposed to be all that great. Seems like they I read where they have major issues at QB. UT will be breaking in a new QB too. Add in that it's the first game of the eyar, and the game should be pretty slow offensively. I'll see enough bad offense in Starkville this year, I don't need any extra.

1. NC ST@SC- SC starts a very big season for Spurrier
2. Bama vs Clempson- ACC's best vs Saban in year 2...very interesting
3. State @ La Tech- we are going to have an insane tailgate for this game for our 7 point victory

i am having to rethink my top three. the NC state game is one i definitely overlooked. i am very curious as to what spurrier is going to do this coming season...and how much EJ is going to affect the team early on.

my main reason for picking the VaTech vs. ECU game is because the ECU team had a crazy offense last year and i want to see if they can sneak up on VaTech. this is not to mention how VaTech will fair without all of the hoopla going on concerning their campus safety issues, etc.

luckily those two games are on different days so i can just watch 'em both.
