Three takeaways:

1. SPEED KILLS: LSU has it. We do not.

2. ROGERS HAS A LOW CEILING: Maybe he got hurt at some point tonight, but an SEC starter has got to make those throws. He was awful tonight.

3. DEFENSE IS NOT PHYSICAL ENOUGH: We don't tackle well and we aren't going to intimidate any team going forward.

Now that the first loss is out of the way, the next six (five if we're lucky) won't hurt nearly as much.

Only disagree on #3. Defense is physical enough. It’s just not fast enough or athletic enough.

The Dline got manhandled tonight by a team starting 2 freshmen tackles.

LSU is not the train wreck we hoped. They are going to get really strong before the end of the year.

We had three great opportunities for kill shots but Will failed to deliver the ball.

17!, I'm not going to be able to sleep at all tonight.

No they aren't. They aren't very good.

Not a train wreck for sure. They have lots of talent and the QB is going to give lots of teams fits. However, that was a winnable game last night. LSU is still figuring things out but by year end they will be a good team.

LSU's DL may be the strength of that squad. And they were coached up well to put pressure on Rogers and keep him off-balance. Kudos to them

Our defense would have benefitted by a few more sustained drives by the offense to level out TOP. This was a game where the smallest of mistakes and tweaks were going to make the difference between 2 closely matched teams. We made a few more errors than they did.

Been saying this for a while. Will's passing has not gotten any better since year one. He may have improved in other areas, but not passing.
