Another of the unwritten stories of Penn State Football is the James Franklin future coaches list(s). Our lazy *** beat writers are failing the greatest fan base by not building the story of his multitude of coaching lists. Am I the only one who is curious on how he dug up our Special Teams stud coach? I know he can read statistics, but presumably how is it that he opted for Diaz and not the bum from Oklahoma State? I am not saying he has perfected his methods, case in point the Army coach as a wide receivers coach, but for those of us suitably indoctrinated to the program it is easy to imagine that he has a cell phone for his wife, one for the coaching staff, another for recruits, another for their moms, another for high school football coaches probably color coded by state, another for media, and all with his airline, hotel and rental car apps. Three presidents into Franklins tenure and all we know about this guy is that he thankful for the media coverage of the team.
