that Raycom has picked up TN/UAB for Sept. 13 making it an almost certainty that State/AU will be a night affair.

For some reason, i was thinking Raycom couldn't bypass an SEC vs. SEC game in favor of an SEC team's nonconference game.

My understanding is that this is a rule if the game will not otherwise be on tv. That is leading some to believe that we are being told this game is headed for ESPN2.

USM-Auburn will be on JP/Lincoln/Raycom/whatever at 11:30 on 9/6.

this link says the UAB-UT game will be on CBS.

After further research, I have concluded that this just means it will be the raycom broadcast on the local CBS affiliate. Seems they could have been a little more clear. Other games scheduled for Raycom are the Florida-Hawaii game and the Auburn-USM game.
