On the face of it, Jeffrey Rush would seem to have been a much better fit with the Good Guys. Highly-rated DE with an offer to come to a university that has put numerous D-linemen in the NFL, a few that are absolute studs even in the NFL, and a university with a defensive-minded HC who has established a rep for being one of the top defensive minds in college football today.
Yet he chose the school within driving distance of us, and farther away from home. $? I suppose he could just plain like it better up there, but still, a guy like that should be maximizing his opportunity to make it to the NFL. On paper that looks like us by-a-mile over OM.
