Kentucky up 8 with 50 seconds left was 8-8 from the FT line down the stretch. And State still came back and tied it up with 10 seconds left.
That’s crazy ridiculous.

Unpopular opinion, but despite Hubbard's heroic 3 to tie the game, I still think the way UK was playing they would have won in OT... especially that RAT 15
There were a combined 29 points scored in the final 1:36. That makes no sense whatsoever. Check out the slope on the score chart below right after Sheppard makes a jumper to put UK up 78-75Kentucky up 8 with 50 seconds left was 8-8 from the FT line down the stretch. our starters played 30 minutes more than their starters. Kentucky got their *** kicked while our guys still had legs, but you could see it about 8 minutes out, we ran out of gas and don't have a bench full of NBA level subs like Kentucky did.Unpopular opinion, but despite Hubbard's heroic 3 to tie the game, I still think the way UK was playing they would have won in OT... especially that RAT 15
he missed 3 shots all night. Just an unreal player. That toss by Sheppard from the free throw was a prayer and fell. Happens. It was his night. Other than from 3 with any player within 4 feet of him
He's good yes and a smart player that can make open shots and drive and make layups and short shots. And he was on last night.he missed 3 shots all night. Just an unreal player.
Yep. Projected high draft pick. Was the difference maker on the floor. Could do it all. 4 for 7 from 3, we couldnt back off him or he would shoot over us, and we didnt have anyone that could stop him getting into the lane. Once in the lane, could finish over bigs or find the right open person.he missed 3 shots all night. Just an unreal player.
he's a smart player that knows when to drive, pass, or shoot. His parents were good ball players at Kentucky. Jeff Shepherd is his father. He's good yes and a smart player that can make open shots and drive and make layups and short shots. And he was on last night.
But when guarded from the perimeter he looks terrible. To his credit he only took 3 shots he couldn't make.
Great idea in theory but do you really think kentucky players 6, 7, and 8 would have let us rough up their star?I would've liked to see us try to be a bit more physical with Sheppard to see if that would've knocked him off his game a bit. It probably doesn't make a difference because of the differences in depth.
