You can say what you want about the man but it can not be disputed how much Eric Hyman's love of women's basketball and understanding of that sport and thus knowing how good Coach Staley was and could become, helped us become who we are today in that sport!

Not sure any AD is keeping there job over how good womens basketball is.

True, but I give the man credit for her hire.

He was here 2005 -2012, and we had some pretty good football teams and baseball teams as well, during his tenure, so his job security was never in question that I recall, even though Darrin Horne was a big fat miss.

Wish he had stayed longer. It would have probably delayed Tanner's retirement.
If you mean retirement from baseball, I don't think so. He probably would have gone to some place like the College of Charleston or some such as AD.
