I just can't fathom going to get a gun when a dispute arises.. particularly, if the situation has already de-escalated once. (As I understand they came back to find the guy they were jawing with.)

He should go to Belhaven, just because it's an NAIA school. Or really any other NAIA school.

I don't feel sorry for him anymore than I feel sorry for every kid who grows up in a life situation in which they feel they need to carry around a hand gun to protect themselves.

What sucks about this situation, is that Brown was given a chance by his athletic ability to permanently remove himself from this kind of situation, and he didn't take it.

the scouts will find you, no matter where you are. I think he should take a shot (pun intended) at going to Delta State. At least there its a little higher level, with a little better level of competition.

you must have 2 years of eligibility to go from 1A to 1AA.

There's no reason for it at all. The majority of the players who would want to transfer down after their junior year would be doing it because they weren't going to get much playing time at their I-A school. </p>
