I’ve always enjoyed analyzing everything in life through deductive reasoning or simply put, finding the common denominator. “With that being said” (I hate it so bad I’ve started using it) We can all agree that over the past 3 seasons our OL has done nothing but sucked. Right? I don’t think anyone can argue that but go for it if you feel the need to defend them. So (I could do it again) over the past three seasons the personnel has changed. From low 3 stars to highly ranked 5 stars, transfers, injuries and so on. It’s a revolving door essentially. However only TWO things have remained constant over those three seasons. We of course have that coach who I personally think needs to be fired yesterday. Then we have our Center, Vershon Lee. I’m not hear to call him out, just laying down the facts. Everything starts with the center and here we have the same center for three seasons of ****** OL play. You tell me??? Yes I still have the picture of him tackling our rb down field three seasons ago. Just saying.

I don't think there's any debate at this point that Teasley is a major liability.

I argued he should have been fired last year. No matter the excuse, when you're responsible for coaching one of the worst units in the nation, you simply have to go if the program is serious about winning. I was told by some on here that Teasley was a really good coach and great recruiter and I'd see I was wrong once we had a healthy OL.

I'm still waiting to see.

We could argue over whether it is technique or scheme or both, but it all falls on Teasley and he has failed to move the needle in a positive direction. We could recruit Heisman running backs all day long but without the OL it would be wasted so if I'm Beamer and I want to improve the offense, I go out and get me a stellar OL coach.

Dabo went out and hired Matt Luke (getting rave reviews so far).

We doubled down on Teasley.

One of Beamer's faults is putting loyalty over building a quality staff. Loyalty is a stellar human quality to a point, but you have to be able to draw the line when it impacts your job and the team negatively.

Dabo has shown foolish loyalty to players (e.g. Cole Stoudt, DJ, etc.), but he has made decisive coaching hires, which is one of the most glaring differences between him and Beamer. If Beamer doesn't get it through his head to hire quality assistants, he will not be a head coach for long. I don't know that he'll get another head coaching job after this one.

You're not thinking right. If Shane is let go here, one of the big blue bloods will hire him and he'll go on to win 10 Nattys. In a row. Gamecock luck.
