I have renamed it the No Fun Board, or NFB, just like the 247 board has been deemed TOS.

Reason - the Stalinist rules as below.

1. No profanity, racist or sexist comments. This includes using abbreviations or changing one letter of a swear word such that the word(s) are still interpreted by most as profane.
2. No pornographic or obscene material of any kind. Any user posting pornographic pictures, or links to such material will be blacklisted. This includes materials within a signature file or avatar.
3. No attacking other posters.
   • Bringing up their name in posts that they did not start or were not involved in, just to get a reaction from them.
   • Consistently responding to their posts and responding with no merit other than to belittle them.
   • In short, making a poster a target.
4. Do not post unsubstantiated rumors about players, coaches, etc. But if you have heard something 'from a friend of a friend,' this is not the website to post innuendo and rumor.
5. No repetitive negative posting.
6. No flaming
7. No attacks on players or coaches.
8. No attacking recruits
9. No posting of commercial offers, competing websites or spamming of the board will be permitted
10. No posting or or distribution any material that infringes and/or violates any right of a third party or any law.
11. Do not give out your personal information on the message board or chat room.
12. No fishing.
13. No dominating the conversation.
14. Terms of service. By subscribing, registering or using the sites, you agree that Rivals and or the publisher(s) and board moderators of the sites have the right, in addition to other rights, to delete your posts or blacklist you or any other user at any time, if they believe that action is in the best interest of the sites, for whatever reason, and the reason need not be disclosed.
15. NO POLITICS

Looks like you can get banned for posting $h!t, BS, Mofo, MFer, etc. I would have a problem not getting in trouble.

And where are we going to get our rumors from? Sekrah would have been kicked off the board.

OTOH, attacking other posters and flaming have been banned, which is a good thing IMO.

This is the old board. It just moved into a new house. The old house has a new tenant.

I’m thinking we should have a contest to see who can get banned first, just by posting something we’ve been allowed to post all along (so nothing extraordinary…just typical old board banter).

I think I'm done posting there. I write that and then realize that I had also "quit" that board at least ten times when it was the McAndrew Board. I can say for sure that this board is my first choice.

Went over there, but it’s nothing but a bunch of buckeyes complaining about the officiating. The school in the B10 that gets major favoritism when it comes to that, just because of a couple non-called holding penalties that Herbie made a huge deal about. Of course O$U never holds because it is way easier to see holding when their O-line is wearing white gloves when they are playing an opponent that has white jerseys and as usual there were none called on them IIRC. Of course they also try to explain away the snap infraction as well.

Glad I am off that board because it has just gone down hill in an instant.

It hasn't even been a full day since the transition but it's all a matter of preference. Maybe more posters will migrate to this board or maybe they won't. The mods will have a lot to do with it. Apparently the guy in charge there for the time being is also the same guy who publishes something for Rutgers. Sure, that'll go well. A message board community can be quickly fractured if the mods drop the hammer on every little infraction. OTOH, Tom McA has in my opinion been very tolerant of some wacko posts. Who knows? Maybe some of them were mine. A lot of those things work themselves out and the mods don't need to use a heavy hand thereby alienating potential traffic to the site. If someone got banned it's very likely they were WAY across the line.

I'm just a consumer. I have no allegiance to any particular site. I'll go to whatever gives me the most entertainment/information value. It's a free site so the value lies in my time and not my money.
