And Costas was right, if there were a trophy for opening ceremonies, retire it now.

Then again, I'm sure we'd have heard something about it prior to the ceremony.

I'm still partial to the 1992 Barcelona ceremonies flame lighting. The archer firing the flaming arrow over the cauldron to light it was simply amazing. Last night's was good too, but not the long "jog" he made was anticlimactic.
