That's the biggest indicator along with Croom's own words and actions (recruiting Terrance Davis to run a Kodi Burns-like package) that we will incorporate *elements* of the spread this fall. No one will confuse us with WVU or Fla, play selection-wise, but I believe Croom's eyes were opened last fall to how ineffective his offense is and how well Auburn (another WCO team) was able to use Burns at times.
Croom is too stubborn to scrap the WCO totally, but he's not an idiot and knows he needs to improve the offense. He's been able to justify the lack of production in his mind by blaming the talent level. He can't do that anymore -- it's 100% his team now. So now he has to start looking internally. I think that's beginning to happen now. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself.
