The reality of transfers as I see it.

O.K., apparently there are alot more transfers in basketball and baseball than there are in football. Generally, in baseball, if you aren't one of the best 10 or 11, you rarely step on the field so you transfer for more playing time (most here wish our whole team would transfer). In basketball, apparently 98% of the players everywhere think that they are going to play in the NBA. And if they don't make it, it was b/c their coach didn't like them and sat them on the bench the whole time. I chalk much of this **** up to kids being batshit crazy as hell these days. Hell, I'm just happy if none of our players kidnap, beat the **** out of, and videotape somebody and post it on the internet. I'm really getting to the point that I am not going to allow what goes on in Starkville get me all that upset anymore. If we have a good team in a give sport every three or four years, it is a bonus to be enjoyed.

There needs to be a 12 step program specifically for MState alums.

"Hi, my name is Shmuley and I am an alumnus of Mississippi State University."

[Note to this board's Dwight Shrutes: This post contains sarcasm. It is not intended as a serious commentary on the state of Mississippi State athletics].

baseball players didn't have to sit out a year so there was more reason for them to transfer.
