On offense, we have not produced since Arkansas and Kentucky last year. Even after the poor performance in the Egg Bowl, nothing changed for the Liberty Bowl. AFter the poor production in the Liberty Bowl, nothing changed for the spring game. Spring game.....then you get what we have tonight. I am sure there will be plenty of discussion on the offense play calling. However, there is a huge misnomer among State fans that Carrol is good. He is not. He was just lucky enough to have Pegues bail him out in the Egg and Liberty. Not to mention to have a few DBs drop INTs during the streak. In addition to play calling/scheme, we desperately need a play maker at QB. The OL isn't very good either. Losing Brown and Sherrod hurt and we did not get much if any push tonight.

On defense, we lose Pegues for something no other SEC coach would even think about suspending a player. Then losing Ellis Johnson and Anthony Johnson and you have what we have on defense. The most suprising thing tonight about the defense was LaTech was more physical at times. Also, we did not have a speed advantage vs a WAC team. I am very concerned about the defense.

Special teams, again obviously losing Pegues hurt. However, there is no excuse for the poor kicking. That is just ridiculous. McAdams has to be the biggest choker ever.

All this falls back on Croom though. We know what to expect from him though....poor offense, poor special teams, and questionable in game decisions. . Croom was not the coach of the year last year. He was the same ole guy bailed out by the defense. This year I am not sure he will be that lucky given the performance tonight. Losing to LaTech isn't as bad as losing to Maine. However, the writing is on the wall for the rest of the season.......expect little from the offense and Croom. Then hope the defense Pegues can come up with plenty of turnovers. </p>

(that he won by being the luckiest bastard I personally have ever seen over the course of a football season) to pull off the biggest fleece job in the history of MSU and one of the biggest in the history of the state. He flat assed got out coached tonight for the umptenth time and it`ll happen again. Big raise , long contract extension and the man can`t coach a lick. WE ARE MSU !
