Given that photo it appears “Nicole” is transitioning to “Nick”.
This is what we’re up against.
This is just a little light-hearted drag across the lips, not a full submersion like Ian.
Was a big nothing burger here in Delray Beach, FL. Wind gusts of 40-50 mph we have T Storms that are worse than that.
Yeah. Even getting hit by the eye wall up here in coastal Brevard we only saw 50ish sustained with a few gusts around 70. No sustained hurricane force winds were recorded on land from this storm.
That said, storm surge up in Volusia County was devastating to beaches already eroded by Ian.
I‘m going to spread a load of Justin’s Nut Butter on my muffin for breakfast.
Friends up in Daytona area are getting smacked pretty good with beach erosion and flooding. I haven't been to the beach here yet today but the webcams show it held up well. Time to get up there soon today for some surfing. Waves are nice.
If you put the Nipple thread out in front of this storm pic it would turn it into a cat-5 hurricane!
