No matter how you feel about NIL, Chiz of all people has no leg to stand on to complain about kids being paid especially when he took over 7 million to go away. Oh and Cam

Dear Jim Chiznik:

Let me know when the player price gets to $180k. And, then, I'll have more to say, MFer.

The hypocrisy of college coaches is really starting to show with NIL and the transfer portal.

"Hypocrisy" is no longer applicable to describe college football...it's all out in the open now. It's all about the money and it's every man for himself.

You never see these people say "we should cap head coaching salaries or buyouts"? It's only out of hand when the players get money

They should be giving $50K to walk-ons. The scholarship guys get $$$ to sign, NIL, free food, etc.

Give some to the guys that need it.

What system isn't flawed? Big-time college football coaches make more than most professional coaches anywhere on the planet. Position coaches make more at top schools than pro coaches. The SEC makes a ton of money so Mr. no-longer-coaching can get a nice paycheck with benefits when everyone who watches the SEC Network would rather watch Laura Rutledge talk about fingerpainting than listen to Chizik talk about the SEC. High school athletes don't choose to go to a university that has the highest tuition because they theoretically are paid more the way ordinary people choose jobs that pay more. And, yeah, as others have pointed it, Chizik shouldn't make moral judgements.

Better idea is quit giving them scholarships.

Just pay them the market rate and let them pay for books, food, tuition, room and board like everyone else.

Chizik is hypocritical but in the end this will hurt more players than it helps.
