If it's been posted about before I missed it. I could even see this as being good for college basketball in the long run. It might get the one and done crowd out of the college game entirely. Many will disagree but I think that would be a good thing.

Yeah, Overtime Elite, the GLeague's Ignite team, and pro leagues development programs like Australia has should continue to entice HS recruits to start their pro careers earlier than college. The money offered is finally becoming something that is worth losing eligibility over.
And in a few years, the NBA's rule that bans drafting out of HS will most likely be reversed at the next bargaining agreement, which will again help a good bit.


But players will still go to college and leave after 1 year since there will always be kids who take a developmental leap at that point in time.
