Odds are, they'll pick up 2 or 3 more wins this year just because. A 1-11 season is usually an anomaly, even for teams that are consistently bad. I'd expect to have at least 4 wins next season. The tell will be Year 2.

1-11 indicates players didn't believe in the system and shut it down rather than get injured in a losing cause.

Sounds like some people aren't buying what he's selling.
Well, he did say, out loud to the existing players that most of them weren’t good enough to play for him. I guess they all took him at his word and said adios. Maybe the smarter thing to say would be…you will have to work harder if you want to play. Challenge them instead of hinting that they wouldn’t make it. Now, I think the man will be able to recruit some really good players. But it will take a lot of warm bodies, too, and they are about to be WAY short on those.

That all depends on what his plan was. If his intent was to get rid of any fat that might exist, his plan worked. I believe that’s exactly what he is doing. I do question why a couple good players left but that may just be them trying to get money or whatever. This scenario in the end is going to shock some people I believe.

The good players probably felt entitled due to how they were treated by their old coaches. Has to be redone from the top to the bottom.

Will have to wait and see if a coach shows up instead of the personality currently parading as an HR manager.

in many cases. Thoughts? Is AD getting flack on this?
Deon Sanders to his credit was a great college and NFL player. That is undeniable. But coaching at a power five school is so much different than coaching at an HBCU School. He will find out that sooner or later he is in over his head and I really do not think he has what it takes to be a consistent winner at Colorado. I just do not see it. Like a lot of NFL players who turn out to be busts, (Ryan Leaf, Johnny Manziel are just two)
Only time will tell but one red flag I saw was when he was at Jackson State they played South Carolina State in a championship game in Atlanta and South Carolina State won that game going away. Not even close.

They got blasted in that particular bowl game two years in a row.
