Definitely had a massive impact on the game.
Yep. I don't care how 1/2 our fanbase wants to spin it - they will forever be remembered as quitters. Mainly because the other 1/2 (us) won't ever let them forget it.
I really think we win tonight if we had our full team, but we didn’t.
Just have to establish a culture where guys want to play.

Their teammates understand it and aren’t bothered by it and that’s what matters to them. I’m sorry for the ego check but all you are is a fan. You’ve never bled with these guys. So if their brothers on the team are ok with it then everyone else should be.

I don't believe for a second that their teammates are ok with them quitting on them. They might not say it publicly because that is what a GOOD TEAMMATE would do but I bet they hate it!
THIS!!! Same for the coaching staff. Beamer can’t publicly come out & condemn the quitters, but he’s paid to win games, & the bowl game would have been more winnable if the quitters hadn’t shown their selfish nature.
No matter where you stand on opt out you have to wonder how the game would've played out if both sides had the full
