This play vs OSU digusted me to no end...

we did the same thing vs UM. We line up unsound, there is no way we can defend this play. It puts out kids in a bad position, and I dont like it.
it appears to me, our force or contain guy is lined up inside the TE!! Way to easy of a block. Lead back just picks off the strape LBer!! TD!!! without a fight.

Yeah any back in the country could have walked that ball in for a score…..I was out of my recliner screaming as soon as I saw the D alignment, that was an elementary school type of error. Sad, so very sad.

It’s one thing to commit that error. It’s another to repeat it. That’s on coaching

Sluggo, the team continues to make the same dumbass mistakes over and over and over.

Seems like every game there’s a dumbass personal foul…..and every game we have a D lineman line-up offsides…..this week it happened twice.

The play you pointed out with no containment, a DE OR A LB OR A DB, all THREE should have recognized there was no containment and taken the responsibility to immediately jump to the outside. Instead, it was Moe, Larry and Curley.

Yep, end needs to rip inside the TE block and not get reached. If he does and comes flat it's a 2 yard gain. Gets to the 2 on 1 you mention, either runs into Chop's arms or he bounces to the free player.

Thanks sluggo, your analysis are always spot on. This is even more convincing evidence that the PSU Football issues are on the coaching and not the kids. They need to set these athletes up for success. The unfortunate thing is that they don't seem to have any quality control on their play calling because it keeps happening.

thanks for the kind words, I just see stuff sometimes, and yell WTF!! at least give our kids a chance!
