1. The player who has the most pressure on him on CFB will be Quinn Ewers, QB of Texas. Arch Manning is the hero and saviour and unless Ewers plays like God Himself, the Tejas Unitelligensia will be rabidly calling for Arch Manning.

2. Penn State will split between OSU and Michigan. The back to back with Illinois and Iowa may also result in a loss.

3. Kalen King will see less throws his way than any other PSU DB this fall. A team could take a chance throwing at JPJ becuse they know the might have gotten a PF on him - especially in 2021 and early 2022. Not so with King. Manny Diaz will face the tough decision of playing Isaac, Robinson and DDS at the same time, in order to get pressure on the opposing QB. Oh, wait that is not a tough deicision at all.

4. USC will not have 11 wins in 2023, because they don't have a defense that is worthy of keeping opponents off the scoreboard.

5. F$U will do well the ACC and will challenge Clemson for the championship. Since they did away with the divisions in ACC, F$U and Clemson may end up meeting twice. A split could happen between the two teams. Don't be surprised if F$U ends up in a NY6 Bowl game.

6. Georgia will be really good but not as dominant.

7. I am putting Dino Babers back on the Hot Seat where he belongs. Mel Tucker will be on the Hot Seat by season's end. Sarkisian's seat will be getting warm. Especially if Quinn Ewers is not playing well and Arch Manning is seen yawning on the sideline. Other hot seats for coaches - Pat Fitzgerald, the guy at WVU come to mind.

8. OSU will beat Michigan.

9. New Mexico State will be a surprise team this fall. Jerry Kill can flat out coach.

10. Manny Diaz will get a coaching NIL deal with Brylcreem.

I'll go one better. Ewers is in the portal at the end of spring practice.

PSU’s lack of quality fire hydrants (aka NT’s) will result in losses against

1. Michigan
2. Ohio State
3. @ Illinois

@Maryland and @MichSt might also be problems.

Was David Jones wrong at a prediction of 8-4?🤷🏼‍♂️

@Ilinois is a pay back game for the OT loss in 2021 PSU W, PSU will beat UM at home in 2023 and no way PSU loses to the Terp's or MSU.

Hard to disagree with much of anything here. Nicely done, Ro. Your BWI Fridays are very productive between posts like this and the weekend music!

USC has some quality challengers on their schedule, including ND and Oregon away, while Washington and Utah are in the Coliseum. And UCLA will challenge as well. 11 wins would be a great season for them, and is unlikely, as you say.

Georgia can afford to be less dominant and still cruise into the SEC title game at 12-0. They play at Tennessee late in the season, Florida in Jax, and any other maaaybe-have-a-chance opponents (South Carolina, Kentucky, Ole Miss - all stretches to really be considered viable opponents right now) are in Athens. The Bulldogs will be favorites or heavy favorites in all unless something happens to them injury-wise. It will take a huge upset to beat them in the regular season. I just hope they do not 3-peat.

I agree about FSU - they are on their way back to being a real factor in the ACC. Time will tell about nationally contending after they clear that ACC hurdle.

Michigan at home seems to always be winnable for us. Ohio State has just had been the huge thorn in the Lions' paw, and playing them away just sets the stomach a-churnin'. Gotta get over that psychological hump. But, the 12 team playoff will be our best friend soon.

While I was very 'meh' going into last season, thinking 8-4 was our best, I am very enthusiastic about this season, even with a 1st year starter at QB. 10 wins it the floor, imo, given no devastating injuries. I think we have enough on both sides of the ball to once again avoid the upset traps (e.g. at Illinois, a couple others). As with Georgia and their 1st year starter at QB, we have the RBs and the TEs who are really, really good and can take pressure off the QB. That helps get us though West Virginia's test, will allow us to easily cruise as we should through Delaware, and head to Illinois with a lot of confidence to face that tough D on the road. I don't think we will need a lot of points in that game, 24 at most should be more than enough, but we can't help them. There are other potential traps, of course, but we will have to be off our game for those trap games to be of concern. (But, it's college football, so there are wild cards everywhere!)

Jerry Kill should get more national recognition this season. He has earned it.

Thank you my Friend Unfortunately some personal matters occurred and I had to get away from all of that scene in the club.

Hope you and family are doing well.

We have a lot to be excited about regarding Penn state football.

Just because you want OSU to beat Michigan does not mean it will happen in Ann Arbor.

I didnt say I "want". I simply stated what I thought would happen this year in college football.

If i was to start listing things I "want" ....then this would be a completely different thread.
