Thoughts on Bo Nix. Was anyone here convinced he was an NFL Starter?

The folks in Denver feel they have been duped but I always viewed his limit as that of a Brian Hoying / Matt Barley type talent at QB.

Not for nothing he's 24. C.J. Stroud is 22. He was a fine college player but NFL starter?

I never understood the draft hype on him either. He was a good player at Oregon at an older college age. He was average at Auburn. I think the teams that needed a QB got desperate and he got hyped up way too much.

I’m not sure that Nix ever won a truly big game while in college. Plus, you are correct that the Broncos panicked when QBs began flying off the draft board early. Nix would have been a good pick in round 3. But he is a reach in the first half of the first round. Still, he seems like a good kid and I hope he’s eventually successful.
