Not with the injuries. He needs to be in the rotation if for nothing else, for his size. This DL is going to get pushed around by BIG offensive lines.JVDB has played sparingly tonight. He’s third on the depth chart at his position.
I don’t disagree, but he did play some, and has a big shoulder harness on.Not with the injuries. He needs to be in the rotation if for nothing else, for his size. This DL is going to get pushed around by BIG offensive lines.
Yes. And so were the coaches. That’s why they tried to get a DT in the portal. They got Ford, but I don’t think he was their top priority. Even so, he is out for the season. Is anyone else concerned with out lack of size and depth on the d-line? We are going to get pushed around by the Big Ten o-lines.
This was one of my 3 concerns from other thread and tonight just reassures me. Unless something changes I don’t see us beating the other big 2 with this interior D line.Yes. And so were the coaches. Did you watch OSU today against Indiana?? I did. Calm down Francis. This was one of my 3 concerns from other thread and tonight just reassures me. Unless something changes I don’t see us beating the other big 2 with this interior D line.
Woe is we!Is anyone else concerned with out lack of size and depth on the d-line? We are going to get pushed around by the Big Ten o-lines.
Time to pack it in and prepare for next season. This was one of my 3 concerns from other thread and tonight just reassures me. Unless something changes I don’t see us beating the other big 2 with this interior D line.
If size is all it takes, there are lots of fat guys riding scooters at buffets in Pa.Not with the injuries. He needs to be in the rotation if for nothing else, for his size. This DL is going to get pushed around by BIG offensive lines.
Enjoy your scooter ride today pal.If size is all it takes, there are lots of fat guys riding scooters at buffets in Pa.
Yep, another 10-2 team I am afraid. We need Izzy and General Vanover back quickly going all urban on their arse or we will be forced to enjoy a season of significant improvement in other areas while being weighted down by position weakness at D-LIne, the Caedan Wallace position, lack of depth but not potential at WR and weirdness at LB with Palooka and Elsden. We do have a few new football players to join the Trey Bauer tenacity club: JB Nelson, Johnny Dixon, McClain, Reed, KJ,. Some real contempt for the other team with this new mob. The other four OLinemen will butcher the other guys in every game. Opponents will know when to throw in the towel when Allen runs for more than 5 yards. That will be the indicator that we will be running at will and barring turn overs and ref meddling, we have the game in hand. JB Nelson is my kind of football player, a destroyer of worlds, along side Einstein the Mauler, we will witness the best left side of the line in PSU history since the '94. The surprise player of the night was McClain, speaks to the talents of our new WR coach and is why we love college football. As Fran Ganter once said, when you see the light switch go on, it is gratifying if not thrilling. McClain is big and fast, can run, and if his hands is sticky we have a combo at WR that will level up to our ALLARMERICAN. All hail #15.Is anyone else concerned with out lack of size and depth on the d-line? We are going to get pushed around by the Big Ten o-lines.
Which is why WVU averaged 3.7 yards per rush huh?Not with the injuries. He needs to be in the rotation if for nothing else, for his size. This DL is going to get pushed around by BIG offensive lines.
Send Franklin and Barnes to Hoss's on North Atherton weekly and the Grange Fair next year. They'll find some real wide bodies there. Might need to work on the agility though. If size is all it takes, there are lots of fat guys riding scooters at buffets in Pa.
That’s the second Trey Bauer reference I’ve read in the past 2 days (I think the other was On3 somewhere).Yep, another 10-2 team I am afraid. 10-2? The horror! We deserve better!Yep, another 10-2 team I am afraid. He played sparingly….with a shoulder harness under his pads.Is he injured? are we saying that he had shoulder pads off and a shoulder harness?
