Unbelievable. Someone needs to be held accountable. Overall SEC record and performance falls on the head coach. There is no way he "checks the boxes" on performance.Bottom of the 7th, bases loaded, two outs and we dont take the bat off our shoulder for out number three. wow
In that situation, a pinch hitter does not take many pitches, especially third strikes!Bottom of the 7th, bases loaded, two outs and we dont take the bat off our shoulder for out number three. wow
It's the "analytical " approach I'm sureIn that situation, a pinch hitter does not take many pitches, especially third strikes!
Yeah he's got one job...In that situation, a pinch hitter does not take many pitches, especially third strikes!
Why hasn't Ray realized he hired a robot, who is the exact opposite of Ray as our baseball coach? He has no feel for the game and player development. The Vandy series bought him a bit of a break but this along with Alabama series has erased that. This team is not a top 25 team. Some great guys and players but kingston doesnāt know how to develop them to be better. Analytics donāt work for most part in baseball, it is all about feel and thatās what Ray had in buckets. He knew what to do and when by the feel of the game. Kingston depends on stats that donāt decide games.
Maybe he doesn't want a coach that will upstage him.Why hasn't Ray realized he hired a robot, who is the exact opposite of Ray as our baseball coach? He has no feel for the game and player development.
Ray, do you not have the same expectations as Gamecock Baseball fans you helped develop? Correct your mistake, please!
I thought about that. But also thought, why would you want something you worked so hard to build destroyed?Maybe he doesn't want a coach that will upstage him.
Coaches generally have big egos and like to be the "best". Vince Dooley was the AD that hired Ray Goff to succeed him at UGA and then hired Jim Donnan. Neither of those coaches were going to unseat Dooley as a "great" coach. I think hiring former coaches as AD is a bad idea. I think RT likes the feeling when he looks at the trophy case and all of the NC trophies are the result of HIS teams.I thought about that. Especially under your watch as the AD.
I agree. I don't like former coaches as AD's. AD job needs the business approach more than the coaching approach and most coaches aren't qualified on the business side and are too invested on the coaching side.Coaches generally have big egos and like to be the "best". Yeah being mediocre over long periods of time doesn't sit well with some of us.This is unreal. Every time the cocks lose a baseball game the fan base wants to fire the coach. What baseball team goes undefeated?
That hits close.Kingston is like when your mom came home from the grocery store and told you that she bought some Coke. You ran out to the car to bring it in the house and were immediately disappointed because it was the store brand.
āEvery time the cocks lose a baseball gameā = WAY too often + itās how bad we usually look losing them. No one wants to fire Kingston because of any one specific loss - itās because season after season since the first year of Holbrook this has been an overwhelmingly average - often below average - baseball team! This is unreal. Every time the cocks lose a baseball game the fan base wants to fire the coach. What baseball team goes undefeated?
