We are improving our roster. In Beamer's second year we moved to the middle tier of the SEC. That was much faster than I would have guessed, especially the way the year started. Goodness. It looked like we were contending with Vandy for the bottom. The top SEC programs are built on the los. I think we are moving in the right direction and bringing in the type linemen needed to compete. If we can put together another good winning record and play exciting football, I think we will have the attention of top flight players and be on the way.

Top 20 class. Hard to complain about that.

I don't believe that anyone would disagree that Beamer has overachieved in each of his 2 seasons here, regardless what happens against ND. Shane appears to be a "chip off the old block" when it comes to "coaching". Frank was a pretty good recruiter. But, his reputation was more on the "coaching" side of the ledger. I believe that Shane is proving to be a stronger recruiter than Frank...... my opinion, obviously.

If Shane continues to bring in Top 20 classes, I believe his "coaching" will get us into the playoffs when the 12-team playoffs start in two years. Once you get into playoffs, anything can happen on a given game day.
