Wanted to add this to the current thread.

And remember, we have several active Skycams viewable on www.NMSCAS.org. Website is free to view.

We also have several (around 10) other locations approved to put cameras once we get funding to do so. If anyone is looking for a last minute tax deduction, you can donate to our nonprofit at https://givebutter.com/Y3o6N9 or text NMSC to 53555

Proceeds go to our camera network and disaster relief fund.

What about Nanih Waiya, got it covered yet?**

Sorry didn't mean to be insensitive to a serious issue, just couldn't resist. Nobody outside this forum would understand
It's all good. If you can't keep a sense of humor you'll never make it.

It looks to me like possible discreet cells for the next 8 hours or so and a hell of a squall line (with imbedded tornados) through the metro area about 7 pm.

We are supposed to be driving the length of MS today to get home. This is giving me some pause.

I'm not sure it's going to heat up enough down south to see a bunch of tornadoes. It's pretty cool and cloudy and only about 65 down here. Getting lightening but that's about it.

It’s wild seeing a tornado warning extend from south or McComb to just north of Yazoo City

It turned into a big line of storms from north Mississippi to the coast. The strongest are in the southern third.

Been in the dark in 39047 (Brandon Rez) for about 30 minutes. Apparently a tornado touched down close to us.

Got ROUGH here for about 30 seconds. Tornado came over but didn't touch down. Had to cut three trees out of the road and pushed off a couple more. Limbs are stuck in the ground straight up and down almost. Lots of trees and limbs down and power lines. Path of debris is only about a qtr mile wide but it's a long path. Don't figure power will be back on for several hours.

One came through Martinsville area in Copiah County, 3 miles north of my house. We were at a family gathering in Hazlehurst when it all came through. Lost power there at 6:45 and at my house in Wesson. I have several rotting pines in my yard that snapped. One hit the powerline and threw the breaker thing on the feeder line. My front yard looks like a bomb hit it.
