And if you look at the area where I live, it is proof that the strongest part of the storm was where the most damage was.

I read about houses being demolished. Never saw it on the news. Was it really tornado like as in house = match sticks?

...just moved back into my house today

I was at a restaurant in Ridgeland when it hit. Scary as #*($&$% @#($&@ $%$#@%$#@. One second its a little bit breezy. The next second trees are just about flat on the ground. Not like the wind picked up. But like they just got thumped over.

I can confirm the Old Fannin and Hugh Ward stuff.

There is a place on Hugh Ward just south of Spillway that looks like something came through about 12 feet off the ground and snapped everything in its path.

I am Starkville and it doesn't look like Jack **** happened here.

Grants Ferry. Trees all over houses there. Looks bad there. I just have to keep reminding myself that tornado damage can look a hell of a lot worse than this - houses turned into piles of scrap lumber or completely wiped from foundation.

looked like a bomb went off. I think 4 or 5 trees completely covered Ridgewood Rd, a few trees on Old Canton. Briarwood area between Frontage and Ridgewood had probably 30 big trees down. Pear Orchard, Northpointe, Lake Trace (where my parents live) area was really really bad. Big *** tree smashed their garage.
