Do you like the format of giving the top players a lead prior to the first round?

I didn't like the format but I'm starting to sway in the other direction.

Should be a good finish this weekend.

I don't see the necessity rigging it to promote the FedEx Cup winner and the Tour Championship winner being the same person. Not exactly analogous but it reminds me of staged racing in NASCAR. It's just fake. The Tour Championship a great event in its own right. Just play it straight up.

NASCAR also popped in my head.

I think the playoffs should be cumulative scores of all four playoff tournaments and the last tournament of the four be played at TPC Sawgrass home, of the PGAT

I am just glad that Vic is stepping up to take up some of the slack from the departed liv players. Say what you want ,, but swapping, koepka, DJ, Bryson and others for Keegan OCD Bradley and "take all day to play a shot " morikawa sp ,is not an even swap.. GET THE YARDAGE, GET THE WIND ..PICK A TARGET and hit the ball

I like it better than the old format, just for the fact that you know where everyone stands to win the cup from the tournament leaderboard, you never knew that before. I have no problem with the staggered scoring start they are playing for points all season long for those starting positions and to me it’s not that big of a lead, just look at this week, if you go out and play great golf you can make up a lot of ground in a hurry (Morikawa). Still quite a bit of movement in the leaderboard, everyone still has a chance to win the cup, but all you have to do is look at the leaderboard to figure it out!

I think having the extra stokes puts a ton of pressure on the leaders right from the very first shot.

Plus, the man who had the added strokes this year and last year (he lost to McIlroy last year) is, without question, the worst putter I have ever seen rise to #1 in the OWGR and I've been watching the OWGR since the matrix began in 1986.

That is pretty amazing 115 this year in total putting!

I always pull for the Americans but Hovland has been playing as well as anyone over the last month. Seems like a solid dude.

I don't remember the exact stat but they said he has only hit one ball out of bounds in over 1000 rounds. Crazy.

I can make almost all of the knee knockers with one hand for double bogey but will grind with two hands over the same putt for birdie or par . Tell me it's not a head game.

Truth! SS did it again yesterday and Viktor just kept rolling them in, yeah he seems like a good dude for sure, very even keel! He seems to be on a path to #1 (eat, sleep, workout and play golf), I like that he learned on youtube and when he got on the Tour he traveled from tourney to tourney in a car just to see America, pretty cool!

I didn't realize V.H. is only 25. Feels like he's been around for 10+ years.
