That's nice, but something about having that magazine you can pick up and read anytime you want, I'm old school I guess, you lived for those different one's to be published.

Agree. I remember getting all the preseason publications when I was younger and reading them on the beach.

Street and Smith was awesome. They covered every team, great pics. Great for a kid to read.

I have all the town and gown preview issues from 93, which was actually a combo football (mostly football) basketball preview (I think they started it based on us going to the B10) through the 2011 season. The 93 issue is a stapled cover, not bound. After the sandal, I could not find one in 2012, and I looked everywhere. I think they stopped doing them for a while I have one more, it has Parsons on the cover.

Thinking of getting rid of them. They have just sat in a drawer for a lot of years.

Yes. I liked Phil Steele’s preseason perspective as well. I just heard last week that Steele was a big betting guy and went on odds when making his predictions, however, at the time he never disclosed that info because betting was considered taboo. Regardless, his predictions and team by team forecast was usually pretty spot on. My PSU buddy, whom we lost way too early, always swore by Steele’s predictions.
